Whew!!

Today has been a busy day!! Madelyn and I spent the morning playing games, reading and singing songs. Brian came home around 1:30 and watched Madelyn while I went for a run. It was my first run since Madelyn was born and it was rough!! Haha!! I didn't realize just how out of shape I've become! I've committed to start running again and Brian has promised that he'll help! After the run I was EXHAUSTED!! Running in the freezing cold can really wipe a girl out! After getting ready again, Madelyn and I went to the mall to return some things. Maren Hacker met us and the three of us had a great time! Sadly for Maren and me, Madelyn was the only one who got anything (but we sure enjoyed picking out stuff for her). We came home, had some dinner, watched the Office (of course) and Madelyn took a bath. She loves the bath but hates to get out of it. Consequently she fussed and cried for about 20 minutes after getting out. Now this whole day has been so busy that she didn't take time for a nap...there was just way too much happening all the time! So, as she cried after the bath she really wore herself out and finally fell asleep on the couch.

I think that's my cue to go to bed as well! Goodnight!
